2024 Q1: AAH-074, Waianae Baptist Church and Makaha Valley Chapel
Congratulations to Oahu District’s First Quarter 2024 Adopt-A-Highway Champion, AAH-074, Waianae Baptist Church and Makaha Valley Chapel! The team, made up of members from both congregations, holds a cleanup on the first Saturday each month. Since December 2023, they have removed 32 bags of rubbish from their route along Farrington Highway.
The group’s commitment to keeping our highways clean puts into action its members’ belief that caring for those around you is not only a good way to live, but also an essential aspect of what God expects from his people.
