Congratulations to the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard & IMF 1st Class Association, HDOT Highways, Oahu District’s Second Quarter 2018 Adopt-A-Highway Champions!
Their route is from Kamehameha Highway (from the H1 underpass) to Honomanu Street.
Members of the First Class Petty Officer’s Association (FCPOA) at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard & Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) are proud to volunteer their time to serve their community by creating a healthier, cleaner and more pristine environment for all. Machinist Mate Petty Officer 1st Class Tomas Kren, speaking for the group, issued a challenge to others. “Ask yourself,” he said, “‘Why not volunteer time to keep our environment trash-free?’ This is not just another place…Hawaii is our home.”
Special thanks to the volunteers of Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard & IMF 1st Class Association, for their efforts in helping prevent trash from entering our storm drains and protecting our waters. Mahalo for your commitment to the Adopt-A-Highway program!
